Urgent need help for People with Disabilities
Devastating covid-19 pandemic has affected children and people with disabilities very badly. They are the most vulnerable population, who are going through trauma, not availing any therapy or mental health counselling and medication.
Akshadhaa Foundation NGO working for 9 years in the field of disability, Banaswadi, Bangalore has come forward with their expertise to stand for those children with disability to provide required therapy, counselling, medication with their team of doctor, physiotherapist, speech therapist, special educator and counsellor. The above service will be completely free of cost for the people. Beneficiaries will receive the required therapy kit, consultation, therapy and care based on their need and condition.
Objectives:
- Supporting the children and adults residing in orphanage houses, group homes and facilitate their growth and learning during the covid time.
- The children from below poverty line section, slum areas
- The children who lost their parent/s during covid
Scope:
Through this project we wish to reach 500 such people across Karnataka who need the support.Fundraising:
To run the operations and provide the home care kit to the beneficiaries we need INR 9,00,000 for this initiative. Accessibility of Therapy & hygiene kit for deserving children and adults with neuro developmental disabilities during covid time.-
