Early Intervention

It is not uncommon for you as a parent or a family member to become concerned when your toddler doesn’t seem to be developing according to the normal schedule of developmental milestones.

Early Intervention at Akshadhaa is a comprehensive program to provide focused stimulation for your toddler or pre-schooler with developmental delays, identified high-risk conditions or disabilities.

How does it help?

The focus of the program is to help children learn skills that typically develop during the first three years of life such as

Reaching, Rolling, Crawling, and Walking

Cognitive

Thinking, Learning, Solving problems

Communication

Talking, Listening, Understanding

Social/emotional

Playing, Feeling secure and happy

Eating, Dressing

Play skill

Sensory, Explorative, Parallel play and Turn taking

Tailored interventions

If the toddler or infant has a delay in one or more of these developmental areas, the child receives tailored service to meet his/her individual needs through

individual care plan

Once your toddler gets referred by a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist or developmental paediatrician, our intra-disciplinary team of professionals evaluate and assesses the level at which the child is functioning.

We develop a comprehensive functional Individual Care Plan which is then explained to you.
